To select a test date, you will need to log in to your myNAATI account again. You will be invited (via email from ) to select a test date once your application is approved. You will receive an email once your application is processed (generally within a week). To apply for the CCL test, you will need to create an account in our customer portal, myNAATI, and submit your application from there. NAATI is not able to amend the expiry date of a credential that has already been issued.
Once you pass the DKT you can apply for your learner driver licence. You can now complete the DKT at home or wherever you can get online. Where there is high local demand, we offer in-person Certified Provisional Interpreter tests as an alternative option. All online tests are scheduled and listed in Sydney/Melbourne time (AET), you should ensure you check how your time zone aligns with the time listed.
This is to allow us to process applications throughout the year. Closed – Applications are closed and will reopen at the start of the new program year on 1 July. Check this page regularly for updates on when applications will reopen. If we temporarily ‘pause’ or definitively ‘close’ the application cap, you will get an error message when you try to apply. If you fail the test and receive a result that is 58 or higher you can apply for a review of your results. Offer must be redeemed within 14 days of the date on the redemption email to receive Device. These tests cost the online pokies same as a weekday driving test and can be booked, changed or cancelled in the same way as weekday tests.

You can pay with cash, cheque, money order, debit or credit cards at a transport and motoring customer service centre. You must read and comply with the health and safety requirements for your driving test. If you hold a car learner licence, you must pass the car hazard perception test before you can book your practical driving test. If you are under 25, you are eligible to book a practical driving test once your learner logbook has been approved. If you pass, you will receive the Credentialed Community Language credential letter. You should read the test rules and policies in the CCL Test Candidate Instructions here. This means that each test begins with 90 marks, and marks are taken off if the candidate makes errors during their test. To pass the CCL test, you must achieve a score of 63 or more, and at least 29 marks in each dialogue.
A test review means that a separate examiner will mark your test again, and the marks from all examiners will be taken into consideration to determine your final result. You will receive either a pass (63 or over, including more than 29 marks per dialogue) or fail (below 63, or less than 29 marks in one or both dialogues). Each error will result in a different number of marks being taken off, depending on how much it impacts on the overall communication. NAATI uses an online proctoring program called ProctorExam to make sure all tests are valid and are sat by the correct person.

If you need to use another form of payment, you must return to a transport and motoring customer service centre on a weekday during opening hours to get your licence. If you pass a driving test on a Saturday, you can pay with EFTPOS and get your licence on the day. You must make your booking at least one week before your test date. If you are over 25 you don’t need to complete a learner logbook before booking your test. How to book
If these conditions don’t apply to you, you can take the DKT online. You can make a booking to take the Driver Knowledge Test (DKT) in-person at a Service NSW Centre. Take the online test as many times as you need for the one test fee. Most of our tests are delivered online only to allow for equitable access for test candidates.
