Original American Silk Pilot's Scarf, Army Air Force Patch Embroidery, 80cm x 80cm German Sadly unidentifiedA beautiful item, a pure cream silk pilot's scarf, measuring around 80cm by 80cm. Light staining to the silk in places and a couple of small nips holes, but no significant damage. Good size embroidered AAF "Hap Arnold" with "Army Air Force" scroll beneath. Does not glow under a blacklight, suggesting older and natural threads, no more modern synthetic threads.
