To achieve the final look these buttons are glazed with 2 glazes in overall 4 layers which makes the creation process technically demanding and tricky as the risk of the glaze filling in the holes or sticking to the kiln shelf is extremely high due to the small size of the buttons

6 pcs. 23mm ceramic buttons lava stone botones de porcelana To achieve the final lookHandmade ceramic buttons lava stone. These are 22 23mm buttons sold in sets of 6 pieces. As most other our buttons these were fired two times. First firing is the so called bisque firing where temperature goes as high as 1000C degrees. After that our buttons are ready to be glazed. We put 2 layers of glaze manually and when they've dried, buttons are fired for the second time at about 1230C degrees. The backside of the buttons stays unglazed. Can you
