It's a famed wine, built for ageing and it's admired by many. Louis Benoit Desvignes (of the eponymous estate) says; "Some vignerons work with barrels and they make amazing wines. Cuvee Zaccherie from Thivin for example. It's a great example of gamay aged in barrels."
