Christian Aigens, Portrait Of A Boy Portraits Another gentlemanA charming portrait of a boy looking curiously out of a window by Danish artist, Anders Peter Christian Aigens (1870 1940). Aigens often painted this lad and hes likely related perhaps its his son. Aigens was born in Copenhagen and trained at the Kunstnernes Frie Studieskoler, which offered an alternative approach to the classical leanings of the Academy. During his time there, he studied under Peder Severin Kryer and Laurits Tuxe. He later trained at
