In multiplayer, if you gain life, you want either to gain life in giant chunks (a la Invincible Hymn) or when doing other things (a la Kitchen Finks)

I realize this is stuff I usually write in other articles, but since this card is going to be nutso in this deck and in others, it pays to think about it now that its just about the cheapest it will ever be due to us being at peak deck opening over the next month

If a Pokmon has enough HP, it can occasionally tank one hit from the opponent before it would be knocked out in the next attack, so players can retreat into another Pokmon
