Vintage Caftan Beaded Peacock Kaftan with Sequins Size M downton abbey style fedora and although this peignoir setThis is a wonderful vintage caftan that is silk screened, beaded and sequinned with a representation of a peacock the peacock was introduced to Egypt in the third century BC by the Ptolemaic Greeks and associated with immortality in ancient Egypt. In addition, the image is beaded with faux teardrop pearls. There are no labels in this vintage caftan but I believe that it is of Egyptian origin. It is difficult to date precisely, but I would think that
