Lot 009 - Pair of Antique Sterling Silver Pierced Footed Bowls with Beaded Rims and Paw Feet, Black, Starr & Frost, New York, Pattern 4884, 5-3/4" L x 2-1/2" H each, Total Weight 212 g 1777-favs typical of folk interpretations ofPair of antique sterling silver footed bowls retailed by Black, Starr & Frost of New York. Each bowl has an oval boat shape with a fluted body, pierced quatrefoil cutouts along the upper walls and lower sides, a beaded rim, and four curved legs terminating in paw feet with scrolled knees. The undersides are stamped "Black, Starr & Frost" with an eagle hallmark, "Sterling," and the pattern number 4884. Both bowls are in structurally sound condition
